POMONA – Cal Poly Pomona coach
Scott Davis has announced that Jennifer Judge of Roseville, Calif., has signed a National Letter of Intent to study and play basketball for the Broncos next season.
Judge, a 5-foot-10 forward, averaged 15.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.4 steals a game as a junior last season for the Woodcreek High School Timberwolves, members of the Sierra Foothill League. She scored 63 3-pointers and was named
The Press-Tribune’s All-City, honorable mention All-Metro by the
Sacramento Bee and was a first-team All-SFL selection.
“We are truly excited that Jennifer has chosen to join the Cal Poly Pomona family,’’ Davis said. “She will be a great addition to our basketball team in so many ways. She is a very smart player who understands the game and has the ability to put the ball in the basket from deep. Jennifer has the ability to make an immediate impact for us.’’
The Broncos (2-0 overall) are idle until Dec. 4 when they play host to CCAA newcomer Cal State East Bay. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
