NEW ORLEANS -- For the first time since in three years the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team has been ranked among the nation's top 20.
The Broncos check in at No. 19 in the U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association poll.
The last time CPP was ranked in the top 20 was in 2006 when the Broncos were 17th in late October. The Broncos went on to compete at the NCAA national meet; their last appearance in the Division II meet.
CPP competes at the esteemed Stanford Invitational on Saturday.
