WALNUT CREEK – The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), through Stretch Internet, will provide free live video broadcasts of the CCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament semifinals and finals scheduled for March 5-6 at Lumberjack Arena on the campus of Humboldt State in Arcata.
Fans interested in watching the games online can do so by logging onto
www.goccaa.org, clicking the championships page and following the links.
The semifinals get underway at 12:30 p.m. on Friday when No. 3 Chico State takes on No. 2 Cal Poly Pomona in the first women's game. Top-seeded UC San Diego will then meet tournament host and No. 4 seed Humboldt State at 3 p.m.
The men's semifinals open with No. 1 seed Cal Poly Pomona battling No. 4 Chico State at 5:30 p.m. followed by No. 2 Humboldt State against No. 3 Cal State San Bernardino at 8 p.m.
The women's championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. and the men's title game is set for 7:30 p.m.
Dave Smock, the voice of Cal State Dominguez Hills, will handle play-by-play for the women's games, while Mike Baca, who handles radio duties for Chico State, will broadcast the men's contests.
