Angels honor NCAA Champion Broncos

Head Coach Greg Kamansky threw out the first pitch prior to the Los Angeles Angels game against the Oakland A's on April 10.
The Cal Poly Pomona NCAA Division II men's basketball champions were honored by the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, April 10, when the Angels played host to the Oakland Athletics at Angel Stadium.

National Coach of the Year Greg Kamansky threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

All 10 student-athletes along with Associate Head Coach Bill Bannon, Assistant Head Coach Damion Hill, Athletic Trainer Michael Anderson, Student-Manager Jon Stoddard, Coach Kamansky's wife Anne, and their children -- Taylor, J.J., Zachary and Kylee -- Sports Information Director Mark Reinhiller and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Brian Swanson were invited on the field for the first pitch.
