Former Broncos Continue to Excel Abroad at Pro Level

POMONA, Calif. - Just as the current Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team has gotten its 2012-13 season off to a strong start, five former Broncos have shined through the early portion of their current campaigns with professional teams.

An ongoing #AskBroncoPros question and answer session on Twitter has kept CPP fans in contact with the pro hoopsters who are competing overseas.

Playing in his first season with the Phoenix Hagen of the German professional league, Gordon has competed in all 11 of the team's games so far. Per contest, he's averaging 12.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists. At the free throw line, Gordon has knocked down 23 of his 25 attempts. The Phoenix Hagen currently owns a 5-6 record.

Tsagarakis has helped the Chalons-Reims team of the French professional league to a fourth-place record of 8-4 so far in the 2012-13 season. With 12 games played, Tsagarakis owns per game averages of 14.3 points and 2.0 rebounds. He has knocked down 50 percent of his three-point attempts with a 38-for-76 showing from beyond the arc.

Competing in his first season of professional basketball, Jahn has guided the Langen team of the German professional league to a 6-4 record so far this year. He's averaging 12.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

Luis Pulido

Competing for the Pioneros de Quintana Roo-Cancun of the Mexican professional league, Pulido has helped the team jump out to a 19-9 start this season. Pulido has appeared in 15 of those contests and is currently shooting 70 percent from the free throw line.
