Biography
In 2016 Track & Field: Set personal bests in four different events, including an impressive 4:40.33. mark in the 1,500-meter event at the CCAA Championships... Also served as part of the 4x400 relay team at the conference meet, helping the group post a 4:00.48 time.
In 2015 Cross Country: Competed in five meets for the Broncos, including the two postseason events... Raced her top 6,000-meter time at the CCAA Championships when she crossed the line in 22:50.4.
In 2015 Track & Field: At the California Collegiate Invitational, set a new personal best with a
2:20.44 in the 800-meter event... Posted a mark of 3:09.39 in the 1000-meter at the Pomona-Pitzer All Comers.
In 2014 Cross Country: As a freshman, she competed in six cross country meets, including the CCAA Championships and the NCAA D-II West Regionals... She ran her best 5,000-meter at the UC Riverside Invite with a mark of 19:09.3 and her best 6,000-meter at the CSUSB Coyote Classic meet with a mark of 23:53.0.
High School: A 2014 graduate of Chino Hills High School... Named MVP for all four years... Finished third in the Sierra League... Excelled in the classroom as well, receiving Scholar Athlete recognition.
Personal: Daughter of Floyd and Tammy Monoszlay... Has a younger sister named Kristen... Biology major... Enjoys surfing, piano, guitar, soccer and hanging out with friends in her free time... Favorite pro athlete is Eric Liddell... Favorite pro teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Lakers... Aspires to a career in biology.
