Men’s 8K @ 9:00 a.m.
Women’s 6K @ 10:00 a.m.

Registration
Teams must register in advance by submitting their entries to Don Chadez at dchadez@aol.com  by 5:00 p.m. Oct. 27.

Declarations
Team declaration of up to 10 competing athletes will be done at the Declaration Meeting to be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday (Nov. 5) at the course starting area.

Technical Meeting
CCAA Meet Technical Meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday (Nov. 5) at the course starting area.

Banquet
CCAA Award/Pre-Race Banquet will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday (Nov. 5) at Kellogg West located at CPP (see “Directions”).
Tickets will be $20 per plate, payable at the technical meeting. Please make checks payable to “Cal Poly Pomona Foundation”. Please e-mail Sonia Campos at smcampos@csupomona.edu  your final number of attendees by 3:00 p.m. Oct. 29.

Course
The course is a flat packed dirt trail around Legg Lake located at Whittier Narrows Regional Park see “Directions”.

Facilities
Restrooms will be at the course, lockers and showers will be available at CPP.

Trainer/Emergency response
We will have an athletic trainer present for practice and on the competition day. We will have an EMT service at the course in a standby capacity. A water station will be provided for practice and competition days.

Scoring
First 5 runners per team will score, and the next 2 will displace for your team. First place ties will be broken per NCAA rules (1-5 vs. 1-5).

From the 605 Freeway: Exit at Peck Road and proceed north on Peck (if going 605 North, take a left off freeway... if going 605 South, take a right off freeway). Turn left onto N. Durfee Avenue. Turn right onto N. Santa Anita Avenue. Turn into the first parking lot on your left.

From the 60 Freeway: Exit at Peck Road and proceed south (if going 60 East, take a right off freeway... if going 60 West, take a left off freeway). Turn right on N. Durfee Avenue. Turn right onto N. Santa Anita Avenue. Turn into the first parking lot on your left.

To Kellogg West (Banquet):
From Temple Ave., turn onto University and follow up the hill. Turn right on Kellogg West Drive. Kellogg West main entrance is on left-hand side; park in the upper parking area.

Awards
Awards will be presented at 10:50 a.m. at the course

*Top 15 finishers of each gender will receive All-CCAA Certificates

*First Place Team will receive a CCAA Championships banner, shirts, and certificates

*The winner of each race will be the CCAA Most Valuable Athlete and receive the Most Valuable Athlete plaque

*The Freshman of the Year will be the first “true” freshman finisher from each race.

*The Newcomer of the Year will be determined by a vote of the coaches and awarded a plaque.

*The Coach of the Year will be determined by a vote of the coaches and awarded a plaque

*All ballots will be turned in to the scoring tent by 10:40 a.m.

Merchandising
Official merchandise of the CCAA and the CCAA Cross Country Championships will be available for team purchase during the pre-meet banquet, as well as on-site during the event.
