Ryan Carrell landed a spot in the program record books late Friday night at the Mt. SAC Relays, highlighting a series of impressive performances by the Broncos' men's track and field team.
Carrell finished fourth in the 5,000-meter race at Mt. SAC with a time of 14:26.36, marking the 10th-best time in school history and the best time since 2005. Ryan's twin brother,
John Carrell, also raced well in the same event as he posted a 14:47.52 mark.
Senior
Matt Boudreau set a season best in the 110-meter hurdles at the Bryan Clay Invitational, racing to a time of 15.05 Saturday to finish third in his section. Fellow fourth-year
Tanner Terry also established a top mark for 2013 in the 100-meter dash as he posted a 10.73 mark.
Vincent Huitt continued his stellar senior campaign Friday with a first-place finish in the hammer throw, recording a distance of 185-01.
The Broncos' men's and women's track and field teams will return to action Saturday, April 27 at the Steve Scott Invite in Irvine.
