POMONA, Calif. – The nationally-ranked Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team will host Montana State Billings Monday at 7 p.m. for the NCAA Division II West Region title game at Kellogg Gym.
The winner will advance to the Elite Eight in Erie, Pa., moving that team just three wins away from a national title.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to Kellogg Gym before the 7 p.m. tipoff. Free tickets are available for CPP students, faculty and staff while Rockstar and Poly Trolley will be featured outside the gym lobby. The Broncos are 24-6 this season while owning a 14-2 record at Kellogg Gym. CPP topped Chico State Saturday as West Region Player of the Year
Jada Blackwell scored 35 points, the most for any California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) player this year.
The Yellowjackets of MSUB are 25-7 overall and the squad is led by Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Year Bobbi Knudsen.
