Mike Senyo enters his third year as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Cal Poly Pomona in 2025-26. He started on November 1, 2022.
Since joining the Broncos, Senyo has contributed to the success of one national championship team, ten CCAA championship teams, and the development of numerous All-Americans.
Mike brings 11 years of collegiate experience as a strength and conditioning coach, most recently serving at the University of La Verne overseeing baseball, basketball, and track and field, among others. He has started two programs from scratch and managed 22 teams as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Whittier College before going to ULV.
Senyo also started the strength program at Claremont McKenna College and spent two seasons training 14 athletics teams and designed the athletics weight room in the Roberts Pavilion.
Senyo began his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of La Verne. Senyo started coaching in 2011 at John Marshall High School as Co-Defensive Coordinator, coaching linebackers and the defensive line. He was a four-year football player at the University of La Verne where he received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Design. He is C.S.C.S, FMS, USAW and First Aid certified.
Senyo resides in La Verne with his wife, Trisha, and son, Nikolai.
